2014 European Swimming Championships

 4-10 August, Eindhoven The Netherlands

 

 

 The 2014 IPC Swimming European Championships featured around 380 of the world's best swimmers from 37 countries. Romania was represented by Naomi Ciorap and Georgiana Bazdoaca, both members of the Lamont Sports Club. Naomi had 4 events(100m breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly (non-medal event) and 200m Individual medley) while Georgiana had 7 events (50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, breastroke, backstroke, butterfly, 200m individual medley and 400m freestyle). Giorgy Bazdoaca succeeded in achieving her personal best time for every race she participated in the European Swimming Championships. She reached the final of all her races and overall won three sixth places. Naomi won 5th place from 6 swimmers in the 100m backstroke. Congratulations! Excellent results for the Romanian Paralympic Swimming Team.
